Past Events

International Woman's Day

A talk for Julius Baer, broadcast live across their global office locations; celebrating women trailblazers in fashion, to inspire change and inclusion.
From designers, to models and muses the talk was a journey through the ages of what has shaped our modern fashion world. A call to see through the marketing and external influences which have become 'normalised' so that we can step up, into our own true identity.

Freedom Ball

Guernsey for Freedom - works with some of the world's poorest communities, freeing families from hereditary debt bonded slavery. In my role as event planner and treasurer, we hosted a gala dinner to celebrate the villages who have now come to lasting, self sustaining freedom.
Our next event in Spring 2026, will ensure we have the funds to secure the lasting freedom of over 1000 people.

Once Upon a Dress 2024

2024 saw the debut of the exhibition, Once Upon a Dress, showcasing an exquisite collection of locally owned vintage and designer clothing, each with a story to tell.
The centre piece was "One Dress - Woman"
a unique piece of textile art offering a voice to women around the world. The exhibition attracted wide acclaim by the audience, encouraging deeper connection and conversations around what we wear and how we consume fashion.

Fashion for Freedom

A catwalk show, curated entirely from pre loved pieces which were styled to mirror the trends of Spring Summer, proving that you don't have to buy new to have up to date looks.
Celebrating the joy of dressing positively with all ages and body shapes strutting their stuff on the runway. Plus not a single item of black clothing to be seen! Dopamine dressing at work and play.

TEDx
Glasgow University

Press Pause to Begin - Fashion a New Future,” my talk is about the significance of clothing in our lives and the damage of overconsumption. I explore how fast fashion degrades our self-esteem and what we can then do to empower ourselves and find our own unique brand image.
Focussing on the positive changes we can make to our wardrobes and how that will make an impact on our confidence and the future of the planet.

Just One Thing

A one day sustainable awareness event consisting of talks and a marketplace at the end of my annual 30 day Sustain Ability initiative.
Sustain Ability
educates and encourages individuals, families, schools, groups and businesses to lower their impact on the environment by making a sustainable switch in the way we live every day throughout the month.

Satisfied Clients

Kay presented an extremely informative session, which explained the important difference between fashion and style, and gave us some tips and tricks that even the male audience were interested to hear about.
Personally, I’d love to have her back!
